New Work on Exhibit
Point A --> Point B: Explorations of Geography and Place

Artist Panel Discussion: Friday, October 2 at 6 p.m.
Eastlund Room, CLC 2nd floor
3900 Bethel Drive, St. Paul, MN

Opening Reception follows in the Johnson Gallery

This exhibition explores the concept of place through the photographic interpretation of three local photographers. Each artist's approach addresses this idea in a conceptual, narrative, or responsive manner.

Brian Lesteberg's large-scale color photographs from his series "Raised to Hunt," are a visual exploration of his experience being raised in a family of hunters. Celeste Nelms' exquisite gelatin-silver prints have a narrative way of connecting nature and the human experience. Brett Kallusky's color photographs are often responsive in their poetic depiction of the Italian landscape that is so deeply connected to its historically rich past.

Exhibition on view September 25th through November 8th, 2009. For gallery hours and directions please visit our website.
